About Rev. Dr. Margarita Cabral
Rev. Dr. Margarita Cabral is the CEO of Christians in Business, a faith-centered initiative that encourages leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals to integrate biblical principles, ethical leadership, and service into their work and communities.
Dr. Cabral is also the Vice President of the Faith Forward Initiative and Membership Director for the New American Chamber of Commerce (NACC), where she works to strengthen connections between faith leaders, business professionals, and community organizations. Through these roles, she helps promote leadership development, community engagement, and opportunities that empower individuals and organizations to grow with purpose and integrity.
Dr. Cabral is a dedicated public servant and community advocate. She last served as a Senior Administrative Manager in the Lead Hazard Control Department at the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA), where her work contributed to improving public health and housing safety for residents across New York City.
In recognition of her decades of volunteer service and community advocacy, Dr. Cabral received the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award, one of the nation’s highest honors for volunteerism. The award was presented while she was hosting a symposium on sickle cell awareness, reflecting her deep commitment to health education, advocacy, and community empowerment.
Throughout her career, Dr. Cabral has dedicated thousands of hours to community service and advocacy efforts, including work with organizations focused on sickle cell awareness and community leadership initiatives.
As the founder and CEO of Christians in Business, she is passionate about encouraging leaders to build organizations grounded in faith, integrity, and service. Through leadership initiatives, community engagement, and the Christians in Business Podcast, Dr. Cabral creates opportunities for meaningful conversations about faith-centered leadership and responsible business practices.
Her mission is to inspire leaders to lead with integrity, serve with compassion, and use their influence to create positive and lasting change in their organizations and communities.
